Before the public test realm (PTR) for patch 2.6 is activated, Blizzard provides players with a sneak peek at the new Diablo 2 Resurrected runewords that will be a part of the update. These runewords hold potent tools that can be used by druids and assassins alike.

The Diablo 2 Resurrected expansion, which is available for play on personal computers, has recently received several new runewords, making it one of the most cherished classic role-playing video games available. Patch 2.6 for Diablo 2 Resurrected will introduce a number of new runewords, and testing of the feature in public test realms will start later this week. This provides a bonus to both your attack rating and your maximum life. In addition, your maximum life has been increased. The 'Mark of the Wolf' is a status effect that lasts for three minutes and is triggered whenever you are attacked by a werewolf. This provides a bonus to both the speed of your attacks and the chance of crushing blows that you receive. Additionally, it lessens the amount of physical damage that you are subjected to.

Dbrunski125 makes the interesting observation that the developers have made it possible for buffs to be stacked in order to encourage players to shapeshift into a variety of different forms. It is his opinion that the vast majority of the best Diablo 2 Resurrected Druid builds will continue to focus on a single form, switching to the other only for the amount of time required to receive the buff.
