There’s no denying that further maths requires significant dedication – the content is varied and includes topics such as calculus, linear algebra, vectors, exponentials and logarithms. Consequently, if you aren’t confident in your basic mathematical skills then this course may not be suitable for you. However if you have the motivation it could pay dividends; taking further maths often opens up more university courses than A-level alone would provide.

A common misconception is that studying further maths will limit your prospects to a career involving statistics or computing but this isn’t necessarily true: many employers value graduates who possess strong analytical abilities which are developed through mathematics – something which can beneficial across diverse sectors like pharmacology, finance and engineering etc.

Ultimately whether or not it's worth studying comes down to personal preference; if you think it's something you'll enjoy then absolutely go ahead with it! But don't forget too much pressure won't help so make sure to seek guidance from teachers/mentors when necessary - remember there’s always help available!
